The Art Pod is a working and exhibition space for New Jersey artists. It is in the middle of vibrant Red Bank, NJ where we are surrounded by other artists and art spaces.

Ellen Martin is currently continuing with her iPhone photography series while resuming her painting career. Her collaborative work with another photographer, Kevin Hinkle, has been shown recently at Gallery Jupiter in Little Silver, NJ; The Art Alliance of Monmouth County; and ChaShaMa Matawan. It will be shown in the Art Pod over the weekend along with her award-winning "Abandoned" photography and recently-finished paintings.

Mona Pollard is a visual artist with a preference for painting and drawing. A passion for life drawing sparked a series of small works “intimates”, an invitation to the viewer to come closer. Join us at the Art Pod to see her recent series ‘throwaways”, works on cardboard, which push the boundaries of abstraction without losing the essence of human form. Exhibits include the Art Alliance, Galerie Lucida and Oyster Point Walls. She holds a BFA in Painting at Rutgers’ Mason Gross School of the Arts and an MA from NYU in Graphics. Mona teaches graphic design at Brookdale Community College.

Colin Goodall is a mathematical artist, with a background in academia and at AT&T (Bell) Labs. He has shown his work in several gallery shows, and his pieces are to be found both overseas and in the US. For this Art Expo, Colin will continue to show his wall chess display, now highlighting historic games from the 1930s. He will show a collection of digital works.

The exhibit will include a set of chair designs, realized by a collaboration of Colin Goodall, John Rubbo and Frank Toth. How comfortable is Gerrit Rietveld’s Red Blue Chair from 1920? Sit in one to find out.

For the Arts Weekend, there will be refreshments, including hot tea, while supplies last! The Art Pod is on the first floor and easily accessible.
