Grounds For Sculpture is a 42-acre public sculpture park, museum, and arboretum located in Hamilton, NJ. It was founded in 1992 on the site of the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds by Seward Johnson to promote an understanding of and appreciation for contemporary sculpture for all people. Admission to GFS must be purchased in advance at www.groundsforsculpture.org or (609)-586-0616.
Visitors can enjoy the outdoor permanent collection of 300+ works, temporary exhibitions in six indoor galleries, and learn about contemporary sculpture through a variety of educational programs, including hands-on workshops for adults and children, lectures from top creative minds, tours for all ages, and more. Complement each visit with a meal at one of our cafes or at the fine dining Rat's Restaurant and enjoy shopping in the well-appointed Museum Shop.
For guests with limited mobility, wheelchairs and scooters may be rented in the Welcome Center.
