The Long Branch Arts & Cultural Center, a former bank now, art gallery and community art space is proud to present "The Burlap Project," an Earth Month exhibition in collaboration with the Long Branch Green Team and Rook Coffee Roasters. This unique showcase highlights the ingenuity of local artists who have transformed repurposed burlap coffee bags from Rook Coffee into works of art.

Each artist began with the same raw material—the humble burlap coffee bag—but was given complete creative freedom to manipulate, interpret, and reimagine it in their own way. The results are as diverse as they are inspiring. From intricate sculptures to wearable art, this exhibit is a reminder of the importance of sustainability and artistic innovation.

As part of Garden State Art Weekend, The Long Branch Arts & Cultural Center will also host a special live painting event. Visitors will have the chance to see artists at work, observe their creative process in real time, and engage with the arts community.
