New Jersey's largest fine art museum serves as a vibrant hub for the arts and the community, with a strong focus on public programming that engages local artists and audiences. In addition to its remarkable art collections, the Newark Museum of Art is committed to natural science. It features the Dreyfuss Planetarium and the Animal Kingdom, which celebrates the incredible diversity of life on Earth through immersive and interactive experiences showcasing art and animal specimens. Behind the museum, the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden is home to numerous contemporary sculptures and serves as a venue for community programs, concerts, and performances.
