IMUR Gallery

IMUR (stands for “I am you are.”) is an art gallery that is dedicated to creating shared experiences and promoting talents of our time who explore ideas across cultures. Located at 67 Greene Street, Jersey City, IMUR opened with a recognition that the US has the most diverse population in the world – every race, gender, religion with cultural histories and artistic traditions interwoven into astonishing forms of intercultural expression. In this expansive atmosphere, IMUR began its programming with contemporary thematic exhibitions and events to harness the energies of its ‘local’ communities, to bridge multi-cultural ‘differences,’ and to exemplify the aspirations of artists engaged with reflecting and reacting to the state of the world in its immediacy and complexity.

The gallery is next to one of the most popular restaurants in Jersey CIty, Rumi Turkish Grill, where the visitors can taste authentic mediterranean cuisine. Off street parking.
